We’re heading across the border! The new Fleysen collection will be created by German designers.

After two successful collections in collaboration with Czech designers Filip Mirbauer and Michal Strach, who will stay on with us as Fleysen’s art directors, we’ve decided to broaden our horizons a bit this year and look across the border for inspiration. Our next furniture collection will be designed by the German studio eigenform.

Next stop: Leipzig

Felix Wissing from the Leipzig studio eigenform

The studio eigenform is led by Felix Wissing in collaboration with graphic designer Camilla Le Lous and product designer Fabian Seyd, who are cooperative partners. Felix is a product and interior designer with a strong focus on social and environmental sustainability. In the interest of the circular economy, he seeks simple, contemporary solutions and combines his technical expertise with creative experimentation. French artist Camille Le Lous is a renaissance woman who is a graphic designer at heart but also works with interior and textile design. Fabian Seyde has many years of experience in furniture design and development at Thonet.

A shared affinity for sustainability

Our choice of a studio that places such a strong emphasis on circularity and environmental friendliness is, of course, no coincidence. After all, it’s hard to imagine the Fleysen brand without sustainability. Our production takes place in the Czech Republic, and our metal products are fully recyclable or made directly from recycled materials. We also use biomass plastics that can be composted, and since 2018 we have reduced our CO2 production by 45%.

Let us surprise you with a new collection of sustainable furniture arising from a Czech-German friendship.
