The metal shelf #1210, designed by Michal Strach and Filip Mirbauer, combines a lightweight minimalist look and functional design. Its subtle yet sturdy construction ensures long-term stability. Each shelf has a load capacity of 20 kg.
Design
The shelf with five shelves appears very subtle, yet it has high load capacity and durability thanks to the metal material. It stands on thin but sturdy tubes and all corners are slightly rounded. For sufficient stability, it needs to be mounted to the wall.
This is the first product from the debut Fleysen collection designed by Michal Strach and Filip Mirbauer, which received a nomination in the Best Furniture category at Designblok 2021.
Versatility
If you want to adjust its height, we recommend complementing the shelf with the separate hanging shelf #1214 or shelving units #1213 (five shelves) or #1212 (three shelves). All hanging and standing options can be found in the design shelves section.
Fleysen furniture works like a versatile construction kit that you can customize. Thanks to the subtle design, the pieces together do not look bulky, but rather add freshness and originality to your interior. The dimensions are designed so that the individual components fit together.
How to complement it
Fleysen shelves are characterized by their compatibility. When you combine two shelves #1210, you create one wide shelf. You can also freely combine shelves of different heights, standing and wall-mounted, and mixing colors looks great too.

Why buy Czech furniture
All Fleysen furniture is made in a Czech factory in Plesná, where we build on more than a century of manufacturing tradition. We primarily use metal because it is 100% recyclable and lasts for decades. To delve deeper into our environmental impact, we had a study conducted comparing the impacts of our products with those made in China.
Maintenance
The smooth metal surface is easy to maintain, just wash it with warm water or standard smooth surface cleaners. The powder coating is resistant to regular use.
Delivery, assembly, and warranty
The standing shelf #1210 is delivered disassembled, packed in a cardboard box. The package includes anchors and screws needed to attach it to the wall and an assembly manual.
Just like all other products, this shelf comes with a 10-year warranty, including the availability of spare parts.
Stability and mounting To achieve maximum stability, our standing shelves must be mounted to the wall. If there is a baseboard where you need to mount it, check out our video showing how to solve this situation elegantly. This way, your shelves will always be securely and stably mounted, no matter what obstacles are on the wall.

We coat the surface with powder paint
The coating process involves applying powder paint in an application booth using electrostatic application equipment. After applying the powder paint, polymerization occurs in the oven at temperatures ranging from 150 °C to 200 °C. This method allows us to achieve a perfectly even and durable surface finish.

Damage and complaints
Although we strive to pay attention to every detail, we may overlook something. If you receive a product damaged due to transport, or have another complaint, do not hesitate to contact us. We provide a 10-year warranty on all products and will do our best to ensure you are satisfied with our product. Any feedback can also help us improve the manufacturing, packaging, and delivery processes.
Is there a catch?
We coat the furniture while it is hanging on hooks, and sometimes the paint does not reach every spot. The result can be a few millimeters of area where you see raw metal. We always hang the furniture in such a way that this potential "flaw" is in the least visible places and does not affect how the furniture looks in your interior.
